The client initially planned to adopt the traditional concrete building design method. However, due to the high local labor costs and the tight construction schedule, the client preferred to adopt the prefabricated steel structure solution.
After receiving the requirements, our team showed amazing execution capabilities. It only took 16 hours to complete the output from preliminary design to high-quality renderings. The design plan not only significantly optimized the cost structure, but its visual performance also won high recognition from customers.
During in-depth communication, the client proposed that the 20-meter-wide folding screen area in the hall is strictly prohibited from setting up center columns to ensure the ultimate openness of the space. Faced with this structural challenge, our engineering team quickly started technical discussions.
Although conventional safety logic recommends adding a center column support, in order to perfectly realize the customer's visual vision, we broke the inertial thinking, and after repeated demonstrations and force analysis, we finally developed a two-way support solution of "top suspension + bottom pulley". This plan successfully eliminated the structural columns in the middle of the space, which not only ensured the structural safety of the building, but also achieved flexibility in the use of space.
