The back and part of the exterior wall are not made of glass, but are made of vertical warm-colored wood grain grilles (the kind of Wood Slat Cladding). The black steel frame itself is relatively rough, while the wood elements are very soft. When these two things are put together, the contrast is quite large. Compared with traditional industrial buildings, this design breaks the cold feeling and fits in well with the local Serbian environment.
L-shaped floor plan
The 23 modules are not simply aligned, but staggered. The overall structure presents a very geometric "L" shape, with a total of two floors. A piece of the first floor extends forward, enclosing a rather spacious hard outdoor front square. The square is very practical. It can be used to enlarge large exhibits, hold new car or new product launches, and can also park business reception cars.
How is it divided inside?
The interior is basically arranged according to the principle of "separation of movement and static, and complementary functions", so that the space utilization rate is the highest.
Core exhibition area (the lively part)
It is a long-span space with few columns. It is specially used to display high-end products, create brand experiences, and discuss business with customers. Because of the double-height and the continuous glass interface, each exhibit is quite conspicuous under natural light.
Office area (quiet part)
Mainly placed at the back and second floor. It just corresponds to the area of the wooden grille exterior wall outside, so the light inside is relatively soft and will not be dazzling or reflected on the computer screen. When employees work here, the environment is relatively quiet and focused. There are open workstations, independent offices, and multimedia conference rooms.
What are the advantages of modular buildings?
This project can be regarded as a small model of green buildings in 2026. The reason why this can be achieved depends entirely on modular construction technology.
Low carbon and environmentally friendly
The main components of the steel structure and exterior wall panels are prefabricated in the factory and then assembled on site. As a result, there is much less garbage and noise on the construction site, and the damage to the surrounding forest is minimized.
Build quickly
Starting from leveling the ground, and finally finishing all the installation and finishing the interior, it will be officially completed in April 2026. The 18-module building is quite fast to be honest.
Later modification
The steel structure and modular façade provide high flexibility. If operational needs arise in the future, it will not be too troublesome to carry out secondary renovations, expansions, or adjustments to space functions.
