After the strong earthquake in western Colombia, every family, every rescue worker, and every affected community has touched our hearts. As the search and rescue work gradually comes to an end, the real test has just begun - during the long recovery period, the most urgent and difficult question for people to answer is: how to maintain basic survival and dignity while rebuilding their homes?
The house has collapsed and the facilities have been destroyed, but life cannot stop. Before permanent housing is built, the three most urgent things at present are:
●A safe place for displaced families to live in peace of mind;
●Temporary stations that allow medical and rescue teams to operate normally;
●Command unit that can ensure smooth coordination among all parties.
At this point, relying on ordinary tents is far from enough - with every gust of wind, rain, and aftershock, the sense of security is lost. As a result, some modular buildings originally designed for remote construction sites have come in handy in disaster relief efforts.
